Tonight my mom, sister, and Dacen went furniture shopping for Dacen's bedroom. We have just had Dacen sleeping on a mattress because we didn't want him to fall out of a bed. But now that he is getting older we figured it is time for a bedroom set for him. The other night Steve and I went looking and found one we really liked at Mathis Brothers, but I had to get my mom and Dacey's input. We went to a couple different furniture stores and we couldn't find anything. It's really hard to find good sturdy furniture at an affordable price. So for our last stop I took them by Mathis Brother's that had the one Steve and I really liked. They were selling a complete set. It came with the bed, dresser and night stand and at a great price! My mom and sister really liked it! So we ordered it and it is being delivered Saturday. I am really excited to start getting Dacen's room all put together. Here is a picture of the furniture we picked out. We didn't purchase the drawers underneath. Although, we might go back in a couple of months and get them. The cool thing with them is that you can take the dividers out and use them to store a trundle bed. I like that there are so many pieces we can add later on if we want! After furniture shopping we went out to eat at Mama Rojas's! This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! I have been craving alot of Mexican food with this baby! It was a great night and I'm so glad we got Dacen bedroom furniture picked out and ordered! Now I'm trying to decide how I am going to decorate his room. Any ideas?
