Great Wolf Lodge 2013

     I thought I would type a little blog about our family mini vacation to Great Wolf Lodge and share some more pics!  We went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX.  We stayed for two nights and it was SO much fun!  It was just the right amount of time too. The first day we checked into our hotel a little after 4 and headed straight to the pool area!  Dacen's favorites were the wave pool and the kiddie area.  There was this one little slide in the kiddie area and he probably went down it atleast 100 times the whole time we were there! After swimming we took our showers and had dinner at the Critter Cafe located in Great Wolf Lodge!  It was yummy!  We then went to the 2nd floor where lots of the fun activities are located! We purchased the Paw Pass (which I would most definintely recommend doing)  it was around $70 but it included SO many things for you to get and do! One of the items on the Paw Pass was a stuffed animal which included one outfit!  It is very similar to Build A Bear!  So we picked that up along with his MagicQuest wand!  He also got free wolf ears!  I tried to get a pic of him wearing them but he didn't want to! The Paw Pass also came with arcade points, ice cream, glitter tattoos and more! We went back up to the room and was exhausted!  We didn't sleep all that great while we were there.  We got the Kid Camp suite, which is really cute but Dacen didn't want to sleep in the kid tent part.  So he ended up sleeping on the queen bed with me while poor Steve had to sleep on the pull out couch!  Needless to say we didn't get much sleep the whole time we were there so once we got home our beds felt SO good!  The next day we swam outside for a bit but it was really hot so also swam inside!  Then we had a late lunch at a Mexican place down the street called Uncle Julio's! It was pretty good, it was nice to try a new Mexican restaurant and we do not have one in Oklahoma.  Then we came back and did some more swimming! After swimming Dacen was worn out!  So we ordered a pizza up to the room!  It was THE BEST pizza I have EVER had in my entire life! Yum!  I have been craving it again ever since! The next day we packed up and headed out.  We did stop by The Rainforest Cafe for some lunch! It was a really fun place to eat at! I am not all that great at taking pics but I am trying to get better over the years! So here are some more pics from our trip!  Most of the ones I took turned out blurry or Dacen wasn't looking!  Does anyone else have this problem when taking pics?  However, I did manage to get a couple of decent pics and wanted to share! Our trip was awesome and we can't wait to go again with our new addition to the family in the future!
